Located 5 miles from Playa del Carmen, on the ancient Mayan port Polé, Xcaret is the most famous eco-archaeological park in Mexico. It has underground rivers, inlets for snorkeling, Mayan vestiges, a regional wildlife breeding farm, a butterfly pavilion, a turtle farm, a Jaguar island, a manatee area, and spectacular Mexican show at night.
PLAYA DEL CARMEN
Is located in front of Cozumel Island. This is a Cosmopolitan city were residents from all over the world interact, forming a multicultural community and creating a vibrant atmosphere –mainly on Fifth Avenue where plenty of restaurants, bars and nightclubs, clothing stores, handcrafts, jewelry shops and exclusive boutiques abound.
